FRESNO, Fresno County — November 4, 2026. State Assemblymember Joaquin Arambula remains ahead of Keshia Thomas in early reporting on Fresno’s City Council District 3 race, but no certified outcome has been announced.
What the reported results show
Fresnoland’s election-night coverage reported Arambula with a lead over Thomas, and its November 4 update described the margin as roughly nine percentage points in the then-current tally. The city council seat is a different contest from Districts 1 and 7.
What voters should know
Unlike District 7, where a concession was reported November 4, Fresnoland said neither side in District 3 had called the race at that time. The county is continuing to count votes. Treat the reported lead as provisional and distinguish it from a declaration of victory.
These are unofficial results from the November 3, 2026 general election. Additional eligible ballots, verification, and the election canvass can change the totals. Only the responsible election authority certifies the result.
