FRESNO, Fresno County — November 4, 2026. Nav Gurm conceded the Fresno City Council District 7 election on Wednesday, November 4, congratulating Ariana Martinez Lott as vote counting continued.
What the reported results show
In the Wednesday tally cited by GV Wire, Martinez Lott had 3,688 votes (56.68%) to Gurm’s 2,819 (43.32%). Gurm said she had spoken to Martinez Lott and acknowledged her lead. This is a reported concession, not formal county certification.
What voters should know
Fresnoland also reported the concession and said the seat is currently held by Nelson Esparza. The County of Fresno is expected to continue updating results; the election night count is still unofficial. District 7 should not be conflated with the much closer District 1 contest.
These are unofficial results from the November 3, 2026 general election. Additional eligible ballots, verification, and the election canvass can change the totals. Only the responsible election authority certifies the result.
